Oaklawn Park Returns to HRTV for its Eighth Season this Friday
For the eighth consecutive year, HRTV (R), The Network for Horse Sports, will welcome Oaklawn Park to its programming schedule, beginning with opening day, Friday, Jan. 10.
A staple of HRTV's winter racing schedule since 2007, the 57-day winter meeting begins with a 1:05 p.m. CT first post this Friday. The Hot Springs, AR track conducts racing primarily on a Thursday-Sunday weekly schedule through Saturday, April 12. Two Monday holiday cards -- January 20 (Martin Luther King Day) & Feb. 17 (Presidents' Day) -- are also added.
Oaklawn joins HRTV's busy racing slate, which includes Santa Anita, Gulfstream Park, Aqueduct, Fair Grounds, Laurel Park, Calder, and more.
The network plans to do on-site remotes for select major Oaklawn stakes races throughout the meeting. Additionally, Oaklawn's racing will be featured on HRTV's handicapping shows, including "Westrock Coffee First Call," periodically during the meeting.
