Award-Winning Documentary Show Airs this Sunday at 9 p.m. ET

Arcadia, CA, May 16 , 2014 -- Jockey Scott Stevens hasn't received the notoriety, or acclaim, that has been bestowed upon his younger, more famous Hall of Fame brother, Gary, but he has surely crafted a very solid career in the saddle, and admiration throughout the racing community.

In the next installment of HRTV's "Inside Information: Scott Stevens," airing on Sunday, May 18 at 9 p.m. ET, the award-winning documentary show examines the highly-productive and influential career of the elder Stevens.
The 30-minute show will chronicle Scott's career from age 11.  An accomplished rider in his own right, Scott has ridden more than 4,300 winners, with earnings of nearly $35 million.  He has made his imprint at tracks such as Turf Paradise, Les Bois (in his home state of Idaho), Emerald Downs, Canterbury Park, where he ranks among the top riders in the Minnesota track's history, and others.
His success, like many in racing, has not come without a price.  He suffered injuries in several on-track spills, but the most recent at Canterbury in July, 2010, left him with a variety of very serious injuries.  Determined, and undeterred, he has battled back to resume his career.
A finalist for the prestigious George Woolf Memorial Jockey Award -- which exemplifies on-track success with outstanding character -- in 2013, Scott has been a tremendous influence, and adviser, to his more famous brother.  The show documents Scott's mentoring of Gary, including giving him some emergency lessons before his first-ever race.  Gary has professed a sense of reverence for his brother and termed him "his idol" in an interview airing within Sunday's show.
In addition to speaking with Scott and Gary, "Inside Information; Scott Stevens" includes interviews with Scott's partner Pam, as well as his parents, Ron and Barbara.
