HRTV'S "FASIG-TIPTON PURSUIT OF THE CROWN, PRESENTED BY TWINSPIRES.COM" MAKES 2012 DEBUT THIS THURSDAY
Arcadia, CA, Feb. 8 -- With the major prep races on the road to the Kentucky Derby just underway, HRTV (R) will offer racing fans the latest, up-to-date information on the exciting Triple Crown trail when it premieres the weekly "Fasig-Tipton Pursuit of the Crown, presented by Twinspires.com" show, beginning this Thursday, February 9 (8 p.m. ET).
The comprehensive, informative show will not only focus on the upcoming 138th edition of the "Run for the Roses" from Churchill Downs, set for Saturday, May 5, but the entire Triple Crown road -- the Preakness (May 19) from Pimlico Racecourse, and the Belmont Stakes from Belmont Park (June 9).
HRTV's tandem of Laffit Pincay, III and Jeff Siegel will again co-anchor the show, delivering the latest in weekly Derby happenings. It will again feature weekly insights from HRTV's talented stable of analysts.
The 30-minute show provides detailed interviews with key owners, trainers, jockeys, of possible Derby/Triple Crown contenders, in addition to offering analysis and profiles of the top contenders for the Derby from HRTV's experts.
Beginning on Sunday, February 26, 8 p.m. ET, HRTV will again introduce a second weekly installment of "Fasig-Tipton Pursuit of the Crown, presented by Twinspires.com" to its programming schedule. This half-hour show, slated for each Sunday, will offer an instant recap of the weekend's stakes races that have Triple Crown implications.
