HRTV TO OFFER ENHANCED TRAVERS COVERAGE FROM SPA
Arcadia, CA, August 22 -- HRTV (R), The Network for Horse Sports, will continue its enhanced coverage of the prestigious Saratoga Race Course Summer meeting when, in conjunction with the New York Racing Association (NYRA), it offers expanded on-site coverage of the prestigious $1 million, Grade 1 Travers Stakes this Saturday, August 24.
The network's Caton Bredar will be at upstate New York's iconic upstate racing facility for Saturday's 144th running of the "Midsummer Derby," which has drawn an outstanding field of nine, topped by Palice Malice, Orb, and Verrazano.
Bredar will be there to provide racing fans with the latest up-to-date information, interviews with key personalities, race analysis, and much more. She will remain at the Spa through the meet's closing day -- Monday, Sept. 2 -- following extended stints from the network's Scott Hazelton and Peter Lurie.
As has been the case throughout the meeting, each of the on-site productions will be a collaboration with NYRA and involve its outstanding on-air team, which includes Richard Migliore, who is also an analyst with HRTV, Andy Serling, Maggie Wolfendale and Jason Blewitt.
