Arcadia, CA, July 16 -- HRTV (R), The Network for Horse Sports, will further enhance its coverage of the prestigious Saratoga Race Course Summer meeting when, in conjunction with the New York Racing Association (NYRA), it offers on-site expanded weekend coverage from the iconic racing facility, beginning on Friday, July 26.

The 40-day meeting offers racing six days a week -- only Tuesdays are dark -- and HRTV's on-site coverage will run on a Friday-Monday schedule.  (Once again, HRTV will provide live coverage of all Saratoga's racing action, beginning with opening day, this Friday, July 19 with a 1 p.m. ET first post).

HRTV's Scott Hazelton will kickoff the network's in-depth presence at the Spa for the track's second (July 26-29), and third weekends (Aug. 2-5) of outstanding racing action.  The network's Peter Lurie (starting Aug. 9) and Caton Bredar (beginning Aug. 23) will follow Hazelton to the Spa for a pair of weekends, and continue through closing day, Monday, Sept. 2 (Labor Day).

With Saratoga's daily top-flight racing cards, and customary high-profile graded stakes schedule, HRTV's on-track talent will be there to provide racing fans with the latest up-to-date information, interviews with key owners/trainers/jockeys, race analysis, and much more.

Each of the on-site productions will be a collaboration with NYRA and also involve its outstanding on-air team, which includes Richard Migliore, who is also an analyst with HRTV, Andy Serling, Maggie Wolfendale and Jason Blewitt.

Additionally, Karen Johnson, HRTV's Editorial Producer, will again provide news and story lines throughout the Spa meet, while also acting as a Field Producer for HRTV's live on-site coverage.
