Arcadia, CA, January 17, 2013 -- HRTV (R), The Network for Horse Sports, is pleased to announce that coverage of the 42nd Annual Eclipse Awards will also be simulcast on Sirius XM Radio (Sirius channel 93 and streamed online through the SiriusXM Internet Radio App and at SiriusXM.com) as an extension of their recent broadcasting agreement.
Hosted by Jeannine Edwards of ESPN, and staged at Gulfstream Park Racetrack and Casino in Hallandale Beach, FL, Eclipse Awards coverage will air live on HRTV and SiriusXM from 8:00-10:30 p.m. ET (5:00-7:30 p.m., PT).
Eclipse Awards are bestowed upon horses and individuals whose outstanding achievements have earned them the title of Champion in their respective categories. Eclipse Award voting takes place among designated representatives of the National Thoroughbred Racing Association, Daily Racing Form and the National Turf Writers and Broadcasters. Awards also are given to recognize members of the media for outstanding coverage of Thoroughbred racing.
