HRTV FILM FESTIVAL AT SANTA ANITA SUBMISSIONS FINALIZED
Online Voting for "Fan Favorite" Award Begins this Saturday, April 26
Arcadia, CA, April 25, 2014 -- Final entries for the third annual HRTV Film Festival at Santa Anita have been submitted and will now be judged by an esteemed panel of racing and entertainment professionals with prize money awarded for the top five entries.
Additionally, HRTV viewers and fans may become judges, too, and have the unique opportunity to critique the submissions, and cast their votes, in a separate category -- the $10,000 Fan Favorite -- via online voting.
To see the Film Festival submissions, and vote, viewers may go to www.tvg2.com/filmfestival. The online voting begins tomorrow, Saturday, April 26, and closes on May 4. Winners will be announced at Santa Anita on May 10.
The popular festival encouraged talented individuals to participate by submitting Santa Anita-based films with a maximum running time of five minutes for the competition, entitled: "This is Santa Anita."
In the judges' category, first prize will be $10,000, with second prize at $4,000, while third through fifth prizes will be $2,000, $1,500, and $500, respectively. The entries judged to be in sixth through 10th places will receive free entry to the 2015 competition.
