HRTV AIDING OKLAHOMA HORSE-RELATED RELIEF EFFORTS
Arcadia, CA, July 1 -- HRTV (R), the Network for Horse Sports, will serve as a media conduit in assisting the financial relief efforts for the Oklahoma horse community that was profoundly affected by the recent devastating tornadoes in the region.
Working cooperatively with two equine associations in Oklahoma -- the Thoroughbred Racing Association of Oklahoma (TRAO), and the Oklahoma Quarter Horse Racing Association (OQHRA) -- HRTV has pledged its support in helping to solicit donations to both outlets.
HRTV producer/reporter Jeremy Lyverse made an initial trip to the hard-hit region, chronicling the extensive damage, and has returned from a second follow-up trip with additional video (available on www.tvg2.com) that highlight the rescues, rehabilitation and reunions which have taken place in recent days.
The network's website, hrtv.com, offers a landing page and "click through" to either association in soliciting donations.
