HRTV ADDS BARRETTS RACE MEET AT FAIRPLEX TO ITS LINE-UP
Pomona, CA, Sept. 4 -- HRTV (R), The Network for Horse Sports, will add another prominent racing meeting, the Barretts Race Meet at Fairplex, to its programming schedule when it presents live, on-site daily coverage for the annual 13-day meeting, beginning on opening day, Friday, Sept. 6.
The traditional meeting, which takes place during the L.A. County Fair in Pomona, CA, will conduct racing on a Wednesday through Sunday basis through Sunday, Sept. 22. Excluding Wednesdays, when post time is 4 p.m. PT, the remaining four days will have a 1 p.m. PT first post.
HRTV's talent will be stationed at the unique setting for all 13 racing days, providing racing fans with the latest up-to-date information, interviews with owners, trainers, and jockeys, as well as race analysis, and much more.
The Barretts Race Meet at Fairplex will offer a stakes race on the majority of racing days, but the stakes schedule is topped by three $100,000 events -- the Barretts Debutante (Sept. 14) and Barretts Juvenile (Sept. 15) for 2-year-olds, along with the closing day feature, the Ralph Hinds Pomona Handicap on Sept. 22.
